Lucifer's Mansion, Sunday Evening

The main course of the evening would be a nice salad, this week. And that meant Octavia was chopping a lot of fresh things into a bowl that was fast filling up.

"Finally a dish that caters to my skills," she rasped, glancing over at Lucifer putting his finishing touches on the dessert.

Octavia made a noise. Pleased, again.

"Only because you were being too cautious." Her hands had crept their way up to the back of his neck, and the nails of one hand dragged down his skin, now. "You needed a nudge."

"Just trying to figure out the rules, darling," Lucifer murmured, dipping down to claim her mouth for an unhurried kiss, as he pressed his leg against her just so, and his fingers moved with more intent against the most sensitive parts of her breast.

Oh look, a ragged sigh. Guess he was doing something right, if the stiffening peak under his fingers wasn't enough evidence.

Or that shameless little grind of her hips against his leg.

"You feel incredible," Lucifer whispered, and his fingers slid down, slipping under the cups of her bra until they fit all the way inside.

"Do I?" Octavia rasped, even as her breath hitched a little. "How nice for you."

"Doing nothing for you, then?" Lucifer asked, dipping his head down to kiss her neck as his fingers... resumed doing what they'd done over the fabric, bare moments ago.

"This..." Octavia breathed, scratching a little harder at the back of his neck, "is not about me."

Even if her hips ground against his leg some more.

"Just for my benefit, then," Lucifer sighed, leaving a trail of kisses along her bare skin.

One hand slid out of her bra. Down, under the waistband of her trousers.

"Mm-hmm," Octavia hummed, while one of her hand slid down to his shoulder.

And then further down.

Lucifer's thigh dropped, just a little bit. Enough to give him space. Enough to slip his hand into her panties and press a finger against her clit.

"Careful," Octavia breathed. As if her own hand did not tease at his waistband.

As if her hips didn't press into the touch.

"Should I stop?" Lucifer murmured.

He didn't. If he only got this moment, then, well-- he wanted to see if he could get a noise out of her with a rub or two, something to remember her body by.

What he got was her breath hitching a little.

"You're running out of -- time."

She cupped him through his pants. Lightly, and a little distracted.

Lucifer leaned in until his mouth hovered above her ear. "Seems like a good way to run out the clock, doesn't it?"

With-- very-- deliberate-- circles.

Octavia's eyes slipped closed on an involuntary sigh. Okay, fine, his circles were getting to her.

She did not reply.

Lucifer was taking a moment to memorize this-- her warm skin underneath both of his hands, the slight resistence of the bundle of nerve-endings under his fingertips, the look on her face.

He pressed more firmly on the next stroke of his finger, intent to push this until she stopped him. Firmer and firmer still.

Octavia hummed another 'mmmh', low in her throat. Her fingers curled into the fabric of his pants.

She swallowed as warmth pooled in the pit of her stomach. "You're... starting to get it. The point of this."

"Am I?" Lucifer murmured, distracted. He pressed up against her, narrowing the gap within his hand got to work, but he didn't much care about the resulting ache in his wrist.

There was a lot of distraction to go around, right now. Octavia was feeling plenty of it.

She bit her lip, made another noise. Chose to grind against his hand a little, which did not help with her focus, but it did make her feel just wonderful.

That was the important thing, wasn't it? To make her feel good. "That's it," Lucifer whispered, gaze skimming down her body, to where his hand disappeared down her trousers. He gave her breast the slightest squeeze. "Making me want to drop to my knees, darling."

Another swallow.

"You'd like that too much."

"Yes," Lucifer said, and kissed her jaw. "I would. I do."

"So..."

A sigh.

Her head tilting, slowly, to leave her jaw and her neck more open.

"No knees for you."

"Just this, then," Lucifer whispered.

He pressed a sucking kiss against her neck.

His finger moved faster, the rest uncurling to sit between her lips.

"Just th-this," Octavia agreed. A little shaky, sure, but how else was she supposed to sound? And besides: "'S okay, you still get to make me come."

She was very wet against his fingers, by now.
