Oh yes. The device seemed to hum, to almost clench all around him for a moment. Lucifer's eyes slid shut, feeling the heat that pooled low in his chest.

This one drew a moan.

And then it was gone again, depriving him.

It would return soon enough. Octavia left it on this particular pattern for the moment, giving an approving little hum, watching him as she took another sip.

"Feeling good?"

"Yes." No point in denying it. "It's quite-- thorough."

"Good," Octavia replied. "'Cause you look gorgeous like this."

"Mm." Lucifer let his head drop to the side as another wave of intensity came over him, and a small, low noise spilled out from between his lips.

"Yeah, just like that," Octavia drawled, her own head tilting a little as she took all of him in. Finding the places where he held his tension. "Beautiful."

A breath.

"Mine."

"Always," Lucifer said, voice low. Eyes still closed as each crescendo pulled him up with it, subtly tensing the muscles of his face, his abdomen.

Then departed, moments later, drawing a small sigh there, a soft noise here.

Octavia let it go on for a while, just like that. Just watching him, imagining what he was feeling, imagining -- a few other things, really, too. Possible future ways for them to play with this toy.

But they were in the here and now, and so, after a few moments, Octavia fiddled with the settings again. First, speeding up the pattern, making the ebb and flow of it a little quicker, giving him less time to recover.

Then, turning up the intensity. For both motors.

The first wave came as a surprise, lost as he'd already gotten in the rhythm she'd set. Lucifer's hips made another fruitless motion, not able to move either out or in. "Oh," he gasped, eyes flicking open.

And then the rumble came stronger.

That noise was quite a bit louder.

"Mm-hmm," Octavia hummed, more casually than she actually felt. (She was only human, after all, and her breathing was slowly going a little more shallow.) "That was just to get you used to it. This is where the real fun starts."

"You've really-- planned this out," Lucifer said, his voice more ragged than he'd like.

"Not really," Octavia replied. "I just know how to play you."

"Now there's a nice thought," Lucifer sighed.

His head tipped forward a bit. Another wave of pleasure rolled over him, and he groaned.

"Can't play the piano, but I can make you sound like that."

There was a deep approval to the low hum of her voice.

"And I'm not even touching you."

"You don't need to," Lucifer sighed. "I can feel your eyes on me."

"Good."

That was a part of what this was: a connection, over the divide she'd built between them. Octavia wasn't physically holding him in front of the mirror, and yet he stayed there. She wasn't touching him, and yet --

Whoops, had she just turned the overall intensity up, not quite the highest it would go, but getting up there? Oh dear.

She-- no, it-- wrenched a sudden cry out of him, nerves frizzling with a sudden onslaught of pleasure as the rhythm went up, up, up, overwhelmed him with an intense sweetness that rumbled through all of him.

Or at least, the parts of Lucifer that seemed to matter at the moment.

This kind of thing had a way of making the rest of the body fade into the background, didn't it?

Octavia was watching his face through the mirror, pupils blown.

And then it faded again to that low buzz, just reminding his skin of how it had felt but a moment ago. Lucifer whispered a curse. Then it fell over him again< and his skin flushed red, another gasp on his lips.

The sound and sight of him were intoxicating. Octavia barely realized she exhaled a little sigh in response to his gasp.

She'd fully abandoned her cider.

Lucifer's hips still hadn't grasped that there was no point in moving. They rocked forward in small, senseless motions. His hand settled over the back of the toy, just to have something to hold on to.

He dropped his head back and let out an unabashed moan.

Beautiful. Just beautiful.

"It should be fuckable," Octavia said, her voice a little hoarse, all of a sudden. "I think."

"Not very easily," Lucifer sighed. "It's-- fuck, it's tight."

"Okay, so fuckable for someone who's not as... thick," Octavia amended. "Good tight?"

Just practicing that whole checking in thing they'd sort of talked about.

"Yes," Lucifer breathed, eyes open. "Mm. No complaints."
