Lucifer's Mansion, Sunday Evening

The main course of the evening would be a nice salad, this week. And that meant Octavia was chopping a lot of fresh things into a bowl that was fast filling up.

"Finally a dish that caters to my skills," she rasped, glancing over at Lucifer putting his finishing touches on the dessert.

Octavia smirked a little, around his fingers. She sucked on them once, twice, just to get all that wetness (sure), then drew away again.

"Now," she said, straightening up as if she wasn't still a little disheveled from everything, just now. "Go upstairs. Take off all your clothes, and stand in front of the mirror."

A beat.

"Oh, and get me a chair."

Lucifer sucked in one loud, shaking breath.

"As you wish," he managed, finally, and slipped away from her. Towards the stairs.

Octavia watched him go, for as long as she could.

"Good Devil," she called after him. Sweetly. Kind of?

He didn't believe it. And he was glad for that.

Lucifer made haste to get upstairs. First, he found a small armchair in the corner, and moved it to the side of the bed.

Then, his fingers moved to rid himself of his jacket; to open up each button of his shirt, undo his laces, unbutton his trousers. He kept going until he stood naked before the mirror (in more ways than one, he thought).

Octavia was purposefully much, much slower about getting moving. She grabbed her phone, got herself another slim bottle of cider, and picked something else up from her bag by the door.

Then she finally headed up the stairs.

The waiting was a part of this, wasn't it?

So Lucifer... held still, tried to not as much as sway in place.

The waiting was very much a part of this. Octavia could show her control over the situation by making him follow her orders without her being in the room - and she could derive pleasure from seeing that he had.

That he was.

Which she did right now, stepping into the room. She stopped near the door, just so she could spend a second looking him over.

"Oh, good Devil."

(There was a part of her that wanted to just jump him right now. But, no.)

Lucifer turned his attention away from the mirror for a moment to look at her, mouth curving into a smile.

"As you requested."

"Keep your eyes on the mirror, darling," Octavia told him, casually. "You'll see as much of me as I decide."

Lucifer turned away again, eyeing himself up in the mirror.

Well. Always good to get the reminder he was incredibly attractive.

He was.

Octavia was still eyeing him as she sauntered to the arm chair. She looked at it, then at the mirror, then shifted the chair juuust a little. And then plopped into it, with her things. (For now.)

"Oh, yeah, this view works." At a slight angle, where she could still see his back but also got a good view of his front through the mirror. She raised her free hand and even gave him a little finger wave through it. "Hi."

Lucifer's mouth quirked, fond, if also interested. "Hello," he said.

"Miss me?"

There was no reason for her gaze to slide away from his face and down his body with that question.

"Very much," Lucifer said.

He was... absolutely trying to watch her as much as he possibly could, yes.

While Octavia was ogling his dick. As you do.

"How much is 'very much'?"

Lucifer made a faintly amused noise. "Counted the seconds."

"And how much do you miss me now?"

That was a bit of a lower rasp.

Lucifer's mouth quirked.

"Still counting."

"To what?"

[my_own_advocate]

"Every moment I can't touch you," Lucifer said.

"Well that's going to be a long wait," Octavia drawled, finally looking up at his face again. "I'd just stop counting now."

"Oh, I'm sure I'll be distracted away from it in due time," Lucifer said, tilting his head. "But you asked."

"I get to be curious," Octavia replied, a little airily.

Just because.

"I never said you couldn't," Lucifer said, glancing down at the floor.

"I never suggested you did," Octavia retorted. "I don't think you'd dare."
