Lucifer's Mansion, Sunday Night

It was Sunday night. There had been dinner: some nice takeout from some place on the mainland, followed by an even nicer dessert from some other place on the mainland. Panna cotta with fresh fruit was getting up there on Octavia's list of favorites.

But she had other favorite things, too.

And that was probably why they were already halfway up the stairs.

"Was that passionfruit on purpose?"

Lucifer blinked up at her. "No," he said, poking his cheek. "I had some fruit stuck in my tooth and I finally figured out what it was."

Octavia snorted.

"Good," she said, lightly, "for a second I thought the stairs are suddenly too much for you to handle."

"Not in the slightest," Lucifer said, and took another step up so he could touch her back. "We haven't decided whose turn it is, either."

And just like that, Octavia was going up the stairs just that little bit slower.

"I guess you're right," she drawled. "Hmmm."

"Now, it was mine. Technically," Lucifer said. Caught up to her, a little. "But I promised you a chance to decide otherwise."

"Oh, I remember," Octavia said.

... And left it at that. (For the moment, anyway.) Like a brat.

"No hints, I see," Lucifer said.

And reached up to swat her arse. Like a brat.

"We have one more floor left to --"

That was as far as she got before the swat, so. Lost the last word to the little noise that she'd swear hadn't been a tiny yelp.

"Mhm?" Lucifer said. Innocently.

His hand had wound up back on her arse, somehow.

As it should, to be honest.

"Are you being bratty, or assertive? I can't tell."

"Why not both?" Lucifer said sunnily.

"Mm," Octavia hummed, like she was thinking on it.

They weren't many steps away from the landing outside his bedroom door, now.

"Hmmm," Lucifer agreed.

A few more steps.

And then they were there.

And Octavia turned around to face him, and said, lightly, "It's your turn."

(With the party and everything, maybe she was done being in charge and holding herself together, this week.)

"Good," Lucifer said.

And became a little taller, somehow, as he crowded her into the doorway.

Octavia's breath caught in her throat accordingly.

She stepped backwards through the doorway.

And Lucifer followed, closing the door behind them.

A second later, he'd spun her around and pushed her up against the wall for a kiss.

Octavia gasped at being spun.

And then kind of melted into the kiss. Pliable.

Good. Lucifer's hands slid down along her sides. He gripped her by her hips and pulled them flush against his own. "You're mine tonight," he murmured in her ear, "And I'll take you apart piece by piece."

Octavia wanted to say something bratty, here. Maybe a classic promises, promises, or something in that vein. Something light.

But everything seemed lodged in her throat, instead. And the shiver down her spine just said yes.

Lucifer kissed her. He kept nothing back, demanding entry to her mouth, his fingers firm against her hips.

Octavia yielded without a second thought. Maybe at some point she'd feel like putting up some sort of resistance, but for now, she wasnt of that mind at all.

Her fingers curled into his shirt, but they were gentle, almost hesitant.

Lucifer tugged her with him to the bed. Somewhere along the way, he unbuttoned her trousers and shoved them roughly down her hips. "Take them off," he breathed as he backed against the bed.

Kissed her again, because why make it easy?

They had other rooms, other spaces for easy.

Octavia accepted the challenge - and kind of struggled. There was a fair bit of squirming before she managed to kick the pants off all the way.

Lucifer sat down on the edge of the bed.

He tugged her into his lap the second she was done. He wasn't gentle about that, either.
