Lucifer's Mansion, Sunday Night

It was a very 90s alt rock kind of evening at the mansion, this particular Sunday. Which didn't actually mean much except that Octavia had commandeered the living room sound system for a bunch of Jane's Addiction and the like.

And also that dinner was even more of a relaxed affair than it usually was, meaning it was one they could enjoy on the couch. Easy, relatively non-messy finger foods.

"What was this one, again?" Octavia asked, reaching for one of the dessert ones.

"What, I'm just eating strawberries."

And playing coy.

"Very charmingly," Lucifer said, reaching for another one.

He held it up for her.

Octavia leaned in, purposefully slow.

Her bite was as careful as his had been. Or somewhat, anyway - the eye contact took away some of her care.

"See," Lucifer murmured, voice tipping a bit lower for-- no reason at all. "Charm."

No reason at all.

Octavia said nothing. She was a bit busy lingering in her lean, even after she'd bitten off half the strawberry.

Lucifer made a soft little noise in the back of his throat, his gaze flicking down to her lips.

Oh, there it was: charmed.

Octavia smirked again, but softer. Chewed, swallowed - and licked her lips, now that she had his attention.

"Too attractive, as well," Lucifer said softly.

He leaned in to kiss those lips.

"'Too', hmm?"

Suppose Octavia had opted for some kind of a brat setting tonight. But not so much so not to let herself get kissed.

Because she very much liked that.

"Makes a man do foolish things," Lucifer murmured. "Or a devil, as it be."

[okteiviakom]

"And, my devil," Octavia murmured in return, "what's so foolish about kissing me?"

[my_own_advocate]

"I can't remember," Lucifer said, his mouth curving into a small smile, his fingers sliding along the edge of her face, brushing against her hair. "But I find myself with the oddest impulse to throw myself at your feet, as well."

"Yeah, you get that a lot."

Her teeth grazed his bottom lip.

"You bring it out in me," Lucifer whispered, his thumb sliding along her cheekbone.

He pressed his lips to hers again.

Octavia didn't smartass her way to it, this time.

Just slid one hand to the back of his neck.

Lucifer slid a little closer, pressing his arm against the side of the sofa so he wouldn't accidentally clobber her with the remains of the strawberry.

His thumb slid further down, until it brushed against the edge of her jaw.

Octavia... felt a random urge to nudge his hand until it was under her jaw - but didn't go through with it, just filed it away. For now, at least.

She pressed a little firmer into the kiss, instead.

Lucifer didn't even realize he'd hummed until he felt his own chest rumble. "Easy to get carried away now," he managed, before pressing in yet again, firmer still, and with a bit more teeth.

Hello, teeth.

Octavia gave a soft gasp. Beyond that, her agreement with his words was in the way her fingers pushed into his hair, and her body tried to lean in even further, trying to press against him.

The remains of the strawberry fell rather inelegantly to the floor behind the couch, but Lucifer didn't much care. He slid that arm around her shoulders, bracketing her with his body.

No more teeth, not again. Just the brush of his tongue.

Aw, but Octavia missed the teeth. Not that his tongue wasn't more than welcome - in fact, she was showing him just how welcome right this very moment, her lips parting in invitation.

Greedy, really.

There would be plenty of time for teeth, if that was what she desired. But Lucifer wanted to taste her, wanted to feel her pressed up against him.

He pulled her closer, trying to coax her into his lap.

Took what she would give him with his lips and his tongue.

Turned out it was less coaxing, and more Octavia taking the very first hint of him wanting that as her cue to give it to him in full, shifting over until she was straddling his lap, not at all shy about pressing him against the back of the couch.

Or about resting her hips on his.

She had a lot to give.

"Oh, hello," Lucifer breathed, as was his wont, his hand sliding down to rest on her behind. "Mmm."

He nipped at her jaw.

Octavia tilted her chin up a little, in offer.
