Lucifer's Mansion, Sunday Night

It was a very 90s alt rock kind of evening at the mansion, this particular Sunday. Which didn't actually mean much except that Octavia had commandeered the living room sound system for a bunch of Jane's Addiction and the like.

And also that dinner was even more of a relaxed affair than it usually was, meaning it was one they could enjoy on the couch. Easy, relatively non-messy finger foods.

"What was this one, again?" Octavia asked, reaching for one of the dessert ones.

"Wanting it a bit rough, do we?" If Lucifer sounded just the slightest bit breathless, well, she'd be able to feel why right about now. "Mm."

Another, matching bite, on the other side.

Octavia's nod was a little useless until she managed to actually sigh, "Yes." Sometimes pain just spoke to her, even when it involved no humiliation. "Hurt me a little."

Some more of her hips rubbing against the tenting in his pants should be good for encouragement, right? Her other hand scratched faintly at the side of his neck. Equally faint thoughts regarding getting him out of his shirt flitted through her mind.

"A little," Lucifer chuckled. Or sighed. A bit of both.

He traced the line of the most vulnerable part of her throat down, until he found-- a perfect place.

He brought his teeth down hard, if not enough to break the skin. Just enough to offer the threat of it, a little.

It was a sharp, sharp sting.

Octavia hissed a curse that didn't quite go with how she seemed to melt a little further against him at the same time.

"Oh, hello there," Lucifer breathed against her skin.

He fastened his lips around the mark, with the hint of his teeth, and sucked none too gently.

The pain bloomed into something less sharp but just as intense. Octavia whimpered, and didn't even notice how tightly she was gripping his shoulder, and the back of his neck.

And the words on her breath, after a sharp inhale? "Thank you."

"More?" Lucifer murmured, scratching along her skin with his teeth as he tilted his chin up.

Another nod. A little shaky, more of a reflex than something she decided to do.

"Yes."

His mouth slid over the skin where he had left his first, experimental bite. "Mm."

Bite.

The original bite hadn't been that hard, but it had definitely left the skin just a little tender. So, the sensation was --

Well, Octavia found herself making another embarrassing, slightly strangled noise. Needy, in the back of her throat.

"That's it, love," Lucifer murmured. "I wonder where else... hm."

He left three smaller, swifter bites back down her neck.

He really was far too good at that. Including how that first thing he said seemed to send a spark all down Octavia's spine.

The renewed squirming was just a natural effect of that.

"I was going to ask you to fuck me blind," Lucifer said conversationally, as he found his mouth lingering between her clavicles. "But I'm not against taking a bite out of you, either..."

Octavia took the opportunity to draw in a few deep breaths. To press a kiss to his hair, haphazard.

"We have time," she exhaled, low and rough.

"We do," Lucifer whispered. "Take off your shirt."

Octavia didn't need to be told twice, even if she seemed a little reluctant to pull her hands away from him. But she needed those for peeling the shirt off herself, in short order.

Yes, the bra underneath was one of the nicer ones. The tiniest bit of lace.

"Dressing for the occasion, were we?" Lucifer breathed, running his hands over the contours of the bra as soon as he was able.

"I know you care about this sort of thing," Octavia whispered as she tossed the shirt... somewhere. Hopefully it didn't land on that poor discarded strawberry.

She was too eager about pushing her chest against his hands to care.

"Because you look beautiful like this," Lucifer said softly. "And because you do it for me."

He squeezed gently, kneading just a touch, not wanting to hurt her there. "Almost makes me wish you had some kind of clothing-related kink I could cater to..."

"Maybe there's one that's just waiting to be unlocked," Octavia murmured. "You know I didn't expect most of this to ever... show up."

"True," Lucifer said. "Perhaps..."

He leaned forward, and pressed a kiss over each cup.

"'Til then," Octavia whispered, stealing a little nuzzle against his hair, "you can just enjoy what I wear."

The abused skin on her neck was still tingling and feeling warm, in particular as she tilted her head a little.

Lucifer smiled.

He tilted his chin, and-- bit down in the spot where her chest began to curve into the shape of her breast.

"Son of a--"

Oh, that was new. And sensitive, hence the hissed exclamation.

"Mm, yes," Lucifer said, his voice lazy. He pressed an oddly gentle kiss against the same skin.
