Lucifer's Mansion, Very Late Friday Night

Octavia hadn't said much on the walk over from the club. Hadn't felt like it, for whatever reason. And there was worth to be found in silence on a late-night walk through town, anyway.

But they were here now. Just inside the door, and Octavia sighed and brushed her hair back from her face, and and seemed to try and inhale some sociability into herself.

"Do you have fruit?"

The odds didn't seem great. It wasn't like he was actually here a whole lot, these days.

Lucifer snorted.

"You're terrible at compliments," he said.

Octavia's expression immediately went more wry, but not without a trace of fondness mixed in there.

"Was I supposed to be giving one?"

"Generally people frown if you call them 'ridiculous' while they're half-naked in bed with you," Lucifer said, reaching for her waist.

Snort. "And are you offended?" she drawled.

[my_own_advocate]

"I think you're a very strange woman," Lucifer said, pulling her into him.

[okteiviakom]

"I don't think that's news," Octavia said.

As she let him.

"But sometimes it bears repeating," Lucifer said, neatly unhooking her bra.

Octavia shrugged her way out of it.

"Think otherwise I might forget?"

[my_own_advocate]

"You called me ridiculous," Lucifer pointed out. "An eye for an eye and all that."

[okteiviakom]

"Yeah, except I'm not offended by being called strange."

She ran her hand down to his waist. He didn't need pants.

"Should I just try calling you ridiculous back, then?" Lucifer asked, making no move to stop her.

[okteiviakom]

And so Octavia was undoing them.

"Do you think that'll make a difference?"

[my_own_advocate]

"Seems proportionate, at least."

He watched her face while she opened up his trousers.

Octavia glanced up at his face only briefly, with a little snort. "It's not gonna do anything."

She'd been called much more offensive things in the past.

Anyway, most of her attention went towards the pants. And then towards pushing them down his hips.

And Lucifer shifted, one leg, then the other, so he could get out of those trousers.

"How am I entirely ridiculous, then?"

And Octavia... actually took a moment to fold the pants at least somewhat neatly before setting them aside.

And then stretching out again beside him, reaching down to unzip her own jeans. Downright casual, as she said, "There are constellations on your shoulders."

"Hm?"

Lucifer glanced at his shoulder and caught a few freckles in the corner of his eye. "I suppose so, with a bit of imagination..."

Octavia shrugged, right before she kicked the jeans the rest of the way off.

"Skaifaya kom skaifaya," she said, softer, as if half to herself.

"Poetic as always," Lucifer murmured, pulling her back into his lap as soon as she was finished.

Octavia put up no resistance.

Just splayed the fingers of one hand against the front of his shoulder once she was there.

"Planning to make a map?" Lucifer asked softly.

[okteiviakom]

"It's more like aimless exploring," Octavia murmured, watching her index finger as it slid against his skin. "Don't have the patience for a map."

"I see," Lucifer said, running his hands up her back. "Find anything interesting?"

[okteiviakom]

"Every part of you is interesting." See how 'ridiculous' wasn't necessarily bad, Lucifer? "But you could draw a smiley face under these ones."

There were a couple of the more noticeable freckles of similar size right by each other where she was now tapping his chest.

Lucifer chuckled softly. "Making a ray of sunshine out of me," he said.

He drew a line between her shoulder blades.
