Lucifer's Mansion, Sunday Night

It had been another weird week. But enough of the weird - both from this week, and the ones before it - had apparently passed for Octavia and Lucifer to meet up at the house again on this Sunday evening for another date night.

The previously unfurnished room on the second floor was no longer unfurnished. Octavia didn't know whether Lucifer had noticed yet, especially since she'd left the door closed after she'd been done with it. She didn't know whether it would come into play yet, anyway.

And either way, they were downstairs, sitting down properly at the dining table. A gesture towards things Lucifer liked. And Octavia had cooked, even if the main had been just a very simple salad, which they were just about finished with. The equally simple dessert was still waiting in the fridge.

"Maybe one of these weeks you could give me a lesson." A beat. "You know, for cooking. We could make a thing of it."

"Mm-hm," Octavia hummed distractedly.

Lucifer looked at her, impish and pleased. "You can touch if you'd like."

"True."

She was still slow to move closer, appreciating the full effect for a beat longer before coming up to him to take in the... details.

Lucifer looked down at her face, and... kept in plaec.

Like a good Devil.

Octavia took it as an opportunity to drag a few fingertips up along the abs she'd been so keenly looking at, before.

"I can take more off," Lucifer murmured.

[okteiviakom]

Octavia smirked. "What's going next?"

Because he was always known to be wearing so many articles of clothing, especially on date night, sure.

"Trousers or shoes?" Lucifer asked. "Octavia's choice."

[okteiviakom]

"Shoes," Octavia decided after a beat. "Because I'm being nice."

Or something.

[my_own_advocate]

"Suppose there's little that's sexy about a man in nothing but his shoes," Lucifer said. He let go of the frame, leaning down to pull off his shoes, one at a time.

"Might depend on the shoes."

His were nice, but not that nice.

"And what would be a sexy shoe for you?" Lucifer asked, putting his down. "Tall boots? Not heels, I imagine."

[okteiviakom]

"Maybe boots?"

She shrugged, still watching him.

"I don't know, I haven't really seen anything that speaks to me. I'm just leaving that door open in case anything ever does."

"Oh no, now we might have to go shopping again just to see if we can find anything," Lucifer said, grinning.

He reached for his fly and started to undo it.

Octavia's gaze followed his hands. "You'll take any excuse to go shopping."

"And you enjoy looking at new things, so that works out for both of us," Lucifer said.

He pushed his trousers down his hips.

Yes, down they went. Octavia's gaze was following them along.

"Not just new things."

Ha.

Lucifer stepped out of his trousers.

And back into the frame. "Enjoying this, too?"

"A lot."

In case her keen attention didn't make that clear.

[my_own_advocate]

Lucifer smiled, and stretched his arms out far and wide. "Happy to keep standing here for a bit, if you like," he said. "Or... anything else."

[okteiviakom]

"You stay right there," Octavia drawled with a little nod. "Put your hands how they were."

Lucifer nodded.

He reached up, and gripped the top of the frame anew.

[okteiviakom]

"Good Devil."

It was light, but -- well. It was what it was.

"I wanna show you something." And she ducked past him, for the little bench.

'Good Devil' was not a phrase - at least, coming from her - that would ever do anything but make him shiver a touch.

"More to show me? Excellent."

[okteiviakom]

"Showing off, I guess," Octavia rasped, and dragged the bench behind the frame - or, well, behind him. One of the best features of the frame was that it didn't really have a front and a back, apart from how the person standing in it was positioned, after all.

She stepped up on it, and gave a pleased little hum. "Got this one right, too." It gave her just enough of a boost in height to be closer to being hip-level to hip-level with him. As became obvious when she leaned against his back, sliding her arms around him, her chin resting against the top of his shoulder without having to strain upwards. "I'm as tall as you."
