Lucifer's Mansion, Saturday Night

Yesterday, there'd been shopping. And today, there was...

Okay, Octavia was still not the most comfortable using words like 'date night'.

But it was probably a date night. She was even wearing a sleek black blouse with her black jeans, in an approximation of something Lucifer might like to see.

There'd also been a nice little meal, just now. And Octavia had even allowed herself a small glass of wine to go with it, the last of which she was making her way through now that they were cuddled up on the couch, still downstairs.

A little moment of rest before dessert, so to speak.

"That was delicious," she told Lucifer, her head tilted against his shoulder. "But it usually is."

"We absolutely are," Lucifer said, already steering her there. "I put our purchases in the night stand."

"Smart move," Octavia told him, letting him guide her because the touching was nice. "We're well on our way to stocking every place we hang out at."

Lucifer grinned. "Now just Samsara," he said, dropping his hand once they got to the stairs. "Oh, I promised Duke pictures..."

Octavia cast him an amused glance, like of course he had.

"Then I guess you'll have to take pictures."

"I plan to," Lucifer promised. He gestured. "After you."

He wanted a view.

And a view he would have.

Was that a tiny bit of an extra sway in Octavia's hips as she moved up the stairs? Maybe, but you couldn't prove anything.

(It was probably the wine.)

"Lovely," Lucifer sighed, and then hurried up the stairs after her.

"Good, you're getting started early with the praise," Octavia rasped without another glance back. Not that getting distracted on the stairs couldn't be fun, but they had things to get to.

Which she was absolutely referring to, there, yeah.

"You earned it," Lucifer said, moving after her quickly.

He would very much like to get to the bedroom.

Lucky him, they were almost there.

"And I plan to keep doing that."

"Promises, promises," Lucifer said, snaking his arm around her the moment they got to the landing.

Octavia leaned happily into it, even as she drew him into the bedroom with her.

"Oh, you know I can keep them."

"I'm merely trying to encourage you," Lucifer teased.

And pressed her up against the wall for a kiss.

Oh, hello.

Octavia's hands were free, this time. All the better to curve one along the back of his neck, the other one immediately pushing into his hair.

Mmm. Her lips were still incredible. He bit at them, taking his time to worry her bottom lip between his teeth, and slid his hands up her sides.

Octavia made a low, deeply appreciative noise at the sensation of his teeth. Her nails scratched lightly at the back of his neck in return.

Lucifer sighed softly, sliding his lips from her mouth to leave kisses along her jaw.

He spun her around slowly as he did, bustling her towards the bed.

"Should've picked me up," Octavia murmured.

It was more of an invitation than anything else. He knew she could be particular about being carried.

Lucifer laughed softly. "If you insist," he said, his hands sliding down to her hips.

He hoisted her up.

Was Octavia with strong, tall men because on rare occasions she liked them picking her up, or had she discovered that she liked that because she was with them? The world might never know.

Her feet left the floor. Her lips found his neck.

These were the things that mattered.

They did. And they were very important.

Important enough that Lucifer took his time walking her to the bed. "I do love holding you," he murmured.

Was Octavia's general clinging with all four limbs enough of an answer as to how she felt about that?

She wasn't saying. Just kissing his neck.

Lucifer turned slowly, so he could sit down on the bed without letting her go. "My Octavia," he said softly.

Okay, so the kissing turned into nuzzling as she settled onto his lap. Sue her.

"My Lucifer."

Lucifer's arms slid up around her body. His fingers briefly slid over the clasps of her bra, but they kept moving.

He found the buttons of her jeans and opened those, instead.
