Lucifer's Mansion, Saturday Night

Yesterday, there'd been shopping. And today, there was...

Okay, Octavia was still not the most comfortable using words like 'date night'.

But it was probably a date night. She was even wearing a sleek black blouse with her black jeans, in an approximation of something Lucifer might like to see.

There'd also been a nice little meal, just now. And Octavia had even allowed herself a small glass of wine to go with it, the last of which she was making her way through now that they were cuddled up on the couch, still downstairs.

A little moment of rest before dessert, so to speak.

"That was delicious," she told Lucifer, her head tilted against his shoulder. "But it usually is."

"You," Lucifer said, smiling back. "How incredible you are."

Octavia reached up for his face, just to cradle it between her hands.

"Takes one to know one?"

Lucifer chuckled. "Interesting way of looking at it," he teased. He lingered for a moment.

Then he brushed a gentle kiss against her mouth, and tugged her jeans down.

"It's not my fault I think you're incredible," Octavia mumbled. While pushing her hips up for a second there, just to be of help.

The briefs were a whole lot on the sheer side for something she'd wear.

Lucifer left the jeans on the floor. After a moment of indecision, he... reached past her for his phone, and held it up as he opened the camera app.

"This one is for me," he said. "Not for Duke."

Octavia gave a soft snort and a tiny smirk.

"Mm, already hogging the pictures to yourself?" she teased.

"You picked these out for me," Lucifer said softly. He wasn't an idiot. "I just want to preserve the gift."

He held the phone up until he could get almost all of her in the shot.

He took the photo.

Octavia's expression softened just in time for him to capture that, too.

Because, yeah. She had picked those out for him. And was touched that she'd gotten it right enough that he'd want to remember that.

He knew her. That this didn't come naturally. That she'd thought about what he might like and gone out of her way to get it.

And the underwear looked gorgeous on her. There was that, too.

"Beautiful," Lucifer said, putting his phone aside.

He pressed a kiss against the lace right between her breasts.

Octavia's fingers found themselves carding through his hair. Soft and gentle.

Lucifer moved down, leaving another kiss right below the first. He trailed down the lace until there was none left for him to kiss, and his fingers slid over the mound of her breast.

She should keep this on, he decided.

The bra hugged her in the right ways. It didn't have the structure of a corset or any of the other things that had kept her back straight over the years, but it had something of the feel of being wrapped up and supported.

So Octavia wasn't going to mind keeping it on.

The hand in his hair stayed where it was. Her other one brushed lightly over the top of his hand on her.

Lucifer smiled at her touch.

He found the vulnerable skin of her belly, and there...

There he bit down again.

Octavia hissed, her fingers tightening just a little in his hair.

It felt different there than it had at her throat.

It was supposed to. Lucifer dragged his tongue over the mark, all the way down. He picked a spot above her belly button, this time, and bit again. Harder.

The muscles in her abdomen jumped. Which just seemed to make the sensation more intense.

(Maybe there was nothing that would make it less so. Octavia didn't want there to be, anyway.)

The hand that had been over his on her breast slid away, grabbed at bedding again, instead.

Lucifer smiled. His mouth passed over her belly button. He kissed the skin right below.

"I love you so much," he whispered.

He bit down again.

Octavia did not whimper in response, how dare you.

Or she did, but, shhh. Love and pain-but-not were a powerful combination.

Lucifer pressed a kiss to the bruise forming under his mouth. He trailed more kisses downward, his fingers digging under the lace, tugging it down.

Octavia shifted a little, almost squirmed, all to help that tugging.

And she looked down, to catch sight of the patch of reddening skin on her belly.

Lucifer pulled the panties down around her knees. He pressed his face between her thighs, kissing one, nipping at the skin.

His fingers ran up and down her hips.

This was another one of those moments where Octavia somehow felt more naked than she would have had she actually been entirely nude. Her breath caught a little.

Her hand had slipped from his hair as he'd moved further down. Now it fiddled at the lace on the bottom part of the bra.

Lucifer nudged her legs a little further apart. He shifted down, pressing a kiss to the inside of her knee, right above the panties.

He worked his way back up with lazy, lingering kisses.

Octavia had about half an urge to say something, to tease. But it didn't feel right. Felt like - for now - that she should just revere this moment.

Her fingers brushed over the bruise on her stomach.

"I'm going to get my mouth on you," Lucifer breathed.

Another kiss.

"I'll make you squirm," he said.

And another.

"And then you're going to bend me over and screw me until I forget any name but yours."

He was close to his target. He bit down hard on her inner thigh.
