Lucifer's Mansion, Saturday Night

Yesterday, there'd been shopping. And today, there was...

Okay, Octavia was still not the most comfortable using words like 'date night'.

But it was probably a date night. She was even wearing a sleek black blouse with her black jeans, in an approximation of something Lucifer might like to see.

There'd also been a nice little meal, just now. And Octavia had even allowed herself a small glass of wine to go with it, the last of which she was making her way through now that they were cuddled up on the couch, still downstairs.

A little moment of rest before dessert, so to speak.

"That was delicious," she told Lucifer, her head tilted against his shoulder. "But it usually is."

The briefs matched the bra, although all that he would be able to tell right now was that they felt different - and skimpier - than what Octavia usually wore.

She took extra care with his buttons. ESpecially now that half her attention was moving with his hand.

Lucifer sucked lazily on her bottom lip as he let his fingers slide as far as they could go. He drew circles against the lace. "I almost want you to keep this on," he murmured.

"Maybe if you ask nicely," Octavia rasped, quietly.

"Might make other things harder," Lucifer said softly.

He let himself fall backwards, taking her with him.

Well, there went Octavia's effort to get the shirt off him.

And her desire to counter-argue. Clearly she should kiss him again, after brushing her hair off to one side where it wouldn't hang in the way and get in his face.

Very kind of her. Though the fact she'd abandoned his shirt meant Lucifer found himself undoing the last buttons on his own, now, while she kissed him.

He hummed against her mouth, and bit into the kiss.

Octavia made a little noise, trying to press further into that.

And still finding a breathless moment to rasp, "Now who's being a brat?"

"How am I being a brat?" Lucifer laughed.

"You're being bitey."

Yeah, that really didn't qualify him, actually. And she knew it.

"You like me bitey," Lucifer teased, nipping at her jaw.

"I do," Octavia sighed.

Claiming otherwise might cause him to stop. She wasn't risking that, so instead she was just tilting her head to expose more of her jaw and her throat.

Good choice. Lucifer dropped a string of kisses and bites along her jaw, down her throat, lingering over the space right below her chin.

He slid his hands down the back of her jeans.

Octavia managed to rock back into that a little bit, though the movement was careful when she didn't want to jostle any of his biting.

You know, he just deserved to feel some movement.

He was grateful.

Lucifer found a spot that he liked just... there. Something nice and vulnerable.

He bit down; it was more than a nip, this time.

Octavia's gasp was sharp. About as sharp as the realization that it had been a while since either him or Duke had done that. She hadn't missed it until just now.

The sensation seemed to shoot straight down her body.

"Octavia?" he breathed against the mark.

The breath made her shiver, and there was a 'what?' on the tip of her tongue, until it caught up with her that she figured she knew why he was asking.

Checking in.

"I love it," she murmured. She could still feel it now, but that was good.

Lucifer smiled. "Good," he said, nuzzling the mark.

Closing his teeth around another spot of skin, just below it.

Octavia's little hiss was about half anticipation.

"Good," she sighed, like an echo, her eyes slipping closed.

Lucifer's mouth closed around the skin, and he sucked roughly. His hand slid up and worked its way into her hair, holding her close.

Octavia drew in a noisy, unsteady breath that stayed just on this side of being a whimper. Her hand bunched up the bedding by his shoulder.

It was unfair how that seemed to set her skin alight.

"You really like me bitey," Lucifer observed. "Mm."

He pressed a kiss into the side of her neck. And another.

The third, a bite.

"It's been a while," Octavia muttered. Like that somehow explained it. Or excused it?

She sounded distracted, either way.

"I can think of a few more places I could give you that attention," Lucifer murmured.

His arm slid tighter around her waist.

He flipped her.

And so she found herself on her back. Just narrowly avoided trying to drag them into a bedding cocoon in the process, too.

"Bet you can," she breathed, her face haloed by hair.
