Lucifer's Mansion, Saturday Evening
Guess there were some pretty obvious perks to Duke and Lucifer's newly-constructed pool in the basement of the mansion. Like the option of a quiet, private evening swim, which was exactly what Octavia had just indulged in.
What had then drawn her up onto the top floor of the house was unclear, but what had drawn her out onto the balcony was much easier to pinpoint: the waxing crescent moon, bright in the sky. Almost painfully obvious for her, for natshana, as much as she'd tried to put a little bit of distance between herself and... all of that.
It didn't feel much like distance at all, right now. Everything with her just kept coming back to objects in the sky, didn't it? This planet. The Ark. Eligius. Natshana, skaifaya -- en deimeika. Octavia watched the sickle-shape in the sky, and gave a little sigh, like something in her chest, her shoulders, was deflating.
A thought almost flitted through her head without anything actionable catching onto it. Almost. It was a song, something she'd heard recently, fed to her by whatever algorithm took over once whatever she'd been listening to before it had run out. Something she hadn't even let play all the way through, the first time around.
As she got her phone out, she wondered whether she was even going to find it.
She did.
She pressed play, and let it play quietly out into the darkness of the evening.
Yellow sun is shining in the afternoon; I'd really like to tell you, but I feel it's too soon...
[ooc: Open, SP likely. Also yes I am magicking enough clear sky for her to see what I've been looking at all evening, shush.]

Giving her an anchor, as more and more of her focus slid down her body, to the way warmth built under his fingers.
no subject
Then he let go, and his fingers were working against her again. "I want to make you come," he murmured, "In any of a thousand different ways."

His hand slid away from her breast and settled on her hip, steering her towards the door.
The other remained as it was. Moving, rhythmic and firm.

Octavia nodded, like words escaped her. Her gaze darted past him, to the sky, but she let him move her, guide her.
Both of her hands dug in for better purchase.
no subject
They stepped through the doorway.
no subject
She reached up. Kissed him again.
no subject
He let it distract him, just for a moment.
no subject
The eagerness was back in the kiss again, as brief as it was. When she broke off from it, her gasp against his lips sounded breathless.
no subject
And then, in one fluid motion, he pushed her to the bed.
no subject
Surprise, with a complete lack of resistance. Octavia met the bed, backs of her legs first.

Nothing seemed like a conscious choice.

"Tell me," he breathed against her mouth.
no subject
"On my side." A whisper, a breath, like something drawn out of her mouth by an outside force she wasn't fighting. "You behind me. I -- I want to see the window."
no subject
He pressed a soft kiss to the corner of her mouth. And then-- moved, rolling aside. To allow her to settle into place, even if he missed her warmth under his fingers immediately.
no subject
She rolled onto her side, facing away from him, towards the window.
Towards the sky.
no subject
He reached over her, pushed down her waistband, her panties, and slipped his fingers back between her legs.
no subject
Her sigh was a soft one. Longing.
no subject
Two of his fingers pressed into her, languid.
no subject
Her body welcomed his touch, no doubt about it.
no subject
He worked his fingers slow and sure, making sure to press against her with the palm of his hand every time they-- entered.
no subject
Probably not what Octavia would have said in response to that question just ten, fifteen minutes ago, but this was a different headspace. An open one. A naked one, regardless of her clothing situation.
A little far away, in some ways, and entirely, fully present in others.
"And -- and her."
no subject
Lucifer's voice was a soft echo. He was surprised by this path, but he didn't want to interrupt her.
no subject
What she settled on was a very soft, "The moon."
