Lucifer's Mansion, Sunday Evening

Another Sunday, another date night at the mansion, another meal almost finished. The dessert was more chocolate than it was fruit, but the latter was still very much a part of it. The combination seemed to be just the right thing for Octavia, because...

"Is it too much if I lick the bowl?"

The answer was not going to affect her much.

Lucifer chuckled, in turn. "As they should be."

Octavia gave a soft huff, then an even softer sigh as she nuzzled his shoulder a little.

"I love you so much."

Lucifer's mouth curved into a smile. "I think we can officially dub this a succesful date night."

Octavia snorted, but that too was soft.

"I think so, yeah."

[my_own_advocate]

"Excellent work," Lucifer teased.

"Likewise," Octavia replied, amused. "Very filthy."

"I try," Lucifer said, grinning. "You're an inspiration, as well."

"Oh, I heard," Octavia teased. "You want to do all sorts of things, don't you?"

"And you," Lucifer said, smirking, "Bought accessories without telling me."

Octavia played coy with her little one-sided shrug.

"There should be some surprises, right?"

"Oh, you are welcome to surprise me any time," Lucifer teased. "I certainly look forward to this one."

"Should be fun. There's an app."

Tease.

"Oh, so you're already looking forward to taking a nice seat somewhere and watch," Lucifer teased. "Hmm, maybe near that mirror we're planning to get..."

"I like how you're thinking," Octavia rasped, rubbing idly at his thigh under the water. "We really do need the mirror."

"I'll put in an order for one," Lucifer murmured. "If you promise to think about how you want to use it..."

Octavia gave a soft huff. "Well that's not a difficult promise to make."

"I'd like to think not," Lucifer said, grinning, "But it does offer us quite a bit of pre-date-night anticipation."

[okteiviakom]

"Does that mean you'll be thinking about it too?" Octavia teased, craning her neck to peer up at him. "Wondering?"

Lucifer smirked back at her, fond. "Yes. Obviously."

[okteiviakom]

"Obviously," Octavia agreed. "Good."

[my_own_advocate]

"You know I always look forward to you doing your worst," Lucifer added.

It was almost a purr.

Octavia's lips twitched further into a smirk.

"Good, because it's hard to resist."

(That was... not entirely true, all things lately considered. But she enjoyed her re-discovered ability to say so.)

And Lucifer wasn't about to call her on anything. He just laughed, and pressed another kiss to the top of her head, and enjoyed the moment.
