Once on the deck, Octavia made her way over to the side facing open water, and took a moment to take a few sips from her mug and just watch the water, and to feel the cool night air on her face, a welcome reminder once more of not being trapped anywhere.

But then she leaned against the gunwale with her free hand, took a big, deep breath --
